Groupon is also an awesome option. My husband and I have gone to Playa Del Carmen, Cancun, and most recently Punta Cana over the past three years for our honeymoon and anniversary trips for less than $1,000 each which included all inclusive resorts and RT air with direct flights.

Hello Darling Lifestyle says:

We went there a couple of years ago. It was our favorite adult trip on a small budget. All inclusive is the way to go. FYI book it.com usually has really great deals. Planning trips is one of my favorite things to do. We are headed to Alaska this year as a family.

Scott’s cheap flights is an awesome email subscription……I get emails everyday for international travel with amazing flight deals example: the other day got an email $250 RT from Houston to Hawaii

Friencine says:

I hear cheapCaribbean.com is a good place to get deals on resorts. Hopefully I get to test them out but my coworker went to Mexico with her boyfriend under 3k flight and all inclusive hotel

Allie Yates says:

Wow- great price!!

Canadian Mom says:

I always book last minute it can save money also as unsold rooms are being marked down

How about the trips on Groupon? Have you done any of those? Wondering if they are truly a good deal?

Thanks for all the great tips. We haven’t been on a nice vacation for several years, this will help to get me started with planning an affordable vacation.

Awesome tips. That’s a great price. I heard Wednesdays are the best day to look. That’s when they have discount. I also look at Costco travel too

Erin Hamilton says:

Word on Costco travel! I've taken 3 trips to Cabo San Lucas with them last year! All inclusive resorts, airfare and taxi/shuttle included! From California packages from $500-$700 dollars/person for 1 week. Costco has great packages.I love travel videos. You should take another trip so you can make another video!!

Grace N. says:

Wow! I was not expecting that! Under 3k? That’s so do-able for my husband and I. Thank you for sharing your tips. You are awesome!

Aletse Arias says:

Great info! thank you!! this comes at a perfect time. We are planning a trip for next year for our 20th Anniversary.
I look at the pics in Trip Advisor too LOL!

Tessie Dobey says:

We plan for all trips. Since my hubby and I are both educators, we have the summers off, road trips are our favorite. We also plan for two flight trips, one with the kids and the other with just he and I. But planning is essential. All trips are booked seven months ahead. Our couple trip will be in Barbados, one week $1185.00; food, rooms & drinks and two round-trip flights $397.50.

Melissa says:

Great video ! I'm trying to put together a vacation last minute 😬 Thanks for all the tips .
