I didn’t post last week, so this is 2 weeks worth of Money Monday for you! Two weeks ago I went on vacation with my family to visit more family. This was a quick trip and I spent a minimal amount of money. Check out today’s Money Monday to see how much I spent on vacation and what I spent the week after I came back from vacation!

Things I Recommend:
**Capital One 360 Checking and Savings accounts: https://capital.one/2BZs3GH (open a great interest bearing, fee-free account and get an extra $25, and I get an extra $20!)
**Achievement App: http://tinyurl.com/yby9musm (I get an extra 250 points, but this is only for the next couple of weeks)
**iBotta: ytvsbed (use my referral code and we BOTH get $10!)
**HP Instant Ink: http://try.hpinstantink.com/gnJ93 (We both get one free month of ink with this code!)
**Branded Surveys: https://surveys.gobranded.com/users/register/049b6b881be0fb361c1e168a3 (I spend a few minutes each week doing polls or taking surveys for a few extra bucks)

Sounds like a well needed trip! I love it, the lifestyle we live in terms of frugality and the debt free journey requires a break from time to time. Glad you had fun and congrats on staying on track 😁

Great job Racheal! You should check Office Max or Office Depot or Staples and price computers there before you make your final decision!

What is your status on finding a job! Are you going to stay with teaching, maybe being a school coordinator or guidance counselor! I know you will find another job soon!

In my family Racheal we take turns paying for gas, so if we take a long trip , I will fill up the car first, then the next stop my sister will pay, then my mom, and so on, same if we stay at a hotel , we will split how many ways or I will pay on the way down and some will pay on the way back, and so on, as far as food goes we split the bill evenly no matter who eats what and if one meal cost more then the other, we add in the tip! And if we stay for 3 or 4 days or a week we go to a grocery store and buy food for the place we stay at we all eat and share! It! We will go out each to each night and it will be a place we don’t have here at home! And we may order a pizza and pay for that! But we pretty share and take turns even if someone that goes has no money we buy for them too and don’t make a big deal about it because it is family! We live on Social Security! But we manage and do t put are selves in a hole! We all share!

I went on a road trip recently to see my very first boyfriend. We watched a documentary called “I Survived I Kissed Dating Goodbye.” Which is a 20 year follow up of a Christian book called I Kissed Dating Goodbye.
We had awesome conversation with memories of our own relationship and break up and how it plugged in to the ideology of the book. We wondered “what if” a lot. Well I worked on the road trip. I did Uber Eats in 3 cities along the way and audits in El Paso.
I also slept in one motel and twice in the car. Sleeping in the car is underrated, it’s actually kind of refreshing.

One splurge meal spent with family is worth it. Otherwise it was a pretty cheap trip. I hear you on spending money of water when it is free from the tap. It is great that you got to get away during your summer holidays.
